Business Development Director
GreenZone is seeking a Director of Business Development to oversee all aspects of business development. In this new role, the Director of Business Development will be responsible for overall management of pipeline development, capture management, business development staff management, leadership, and strategy. A key feature of the Director of Business Development is direct access to a no-nonsense, high-energy corporate team ready to fully support rapid growth, significant autonomy, and uncapped bonus potential. In this role you will:
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, while building domain expertise and client intimacy to achieve GreenZone’s business development goals
- Manage the GreenZone Business Development Team to develop and execute an aggressive campaign across accounts to expand business within current programs and grow business through new opportunities
- Oversee the completion of corporate initiatives to achieve established corporate goals
- Working with programmatic subject matter experts, develop marketable capabilities and approaches
- Manage existing teaming partnerships (Prime and Subcontractor) and develop future teaming partnerships
- Lead proposal development efforts
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years’ business development and capture experience, 3+ years in a leadership role managing business development and capture for a small business
- Experience developing business and relationships at DoD and Civilian Agencies
- Experience leading the design of visually appealing, creative marketing materials
- Experience developing compliant, compelling, winning proposals
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government clearance required
